Director of Human Resources

The Director of Human Resources will create, implement, and maintain people strategies focused on selecting, developing, rewarding, and retaining top talent.

Key Responsibilities
  • As a member of the Leadership Team, provide strategic Human Resource guidance for the organization.  This includes the development, implementation and/or oversight of training, contingency planning, compensation, and performance management programs
  • Establish and implement HR efforts that effectively communicate and support the strategic vision and business objectives of the company
  • Continually evaluate the organization ensuring the appropriate structures are in place and there is clear understanding of job roles and responsibilities
  • Educate leaders and employees on inquires relating to HR policies and procedures.
  • Act as a coach and trusted advisor to the leadership team and the organization
  • Identify staffing needs and recruit top talent
  • Develop and implement training/development programs that grow team members beyond their current abilities
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and global directives, mitigate risks
  • Maintain accurate employee records including personal data, tax information, performance reviews, wage and salary information
  • Conduct employee related investigations, such as attendance, policy violations, harassment, etc.
  • Address employee relations issues with leadership and recommend the appropriate course of action.  
  • Oversee the development and administration of employee benefit programs
  • Oversee the process of payroll
  • Manage compensation administration inclusive of salary evaluation and bonus reward programs
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business required
  • Masters preferred
  • PHR or SPHR preferred
  • Eight or more years in the HR field with progressive growth in responsibilities
